Gill Digital Services is pleased to announce that on March 23, 2023, the Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees approved Gill Digital Services, LLC as part of an award to provide goods and/or services. The term of this agreement is effective from March 24, 2023 and expires March 23, 2026, with optional two (2) – one-year renewals for RFP # JKJ-207045 “Safety and Security Window Film”.

1) Arlington ISD
22-40 - Custodial Supplies for Inventory & Catalog
Nearly 60,000 students are enrolled in the Arlington ISD. The AISD is the 13th-largest school district in Texas. Elementary and secondary students identified for gifted and talented services are assured an array of learning opportunities during the school day and through co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Grade-appropriate research skills are incorporated in the curriculum through open-ended assignments, providing a continuum of learning experiences that lead to the development of advanced-level products and/or performances. The AISD currently offers the International Baccalaureate World School Program at Arlington, Bowie, Lamar and Sam Houston high schools. The AISD is home to an award-winning and acclaimed special education program that focuses on academic success as well as the development of life skills. The AISD is home to five National Merit Semifinalists and 31 National Hispanic Scholars.
2) Dallas Independent School District

3) Eagle Mountain Saginaw Independent School District

Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD is the home of 15 elementary schools, six middle schools and three high schools. We also have an early childhood development center with employee daycare and Pre- K classes, a high school of choice, and the Hollenstein Career and Technology Center. It has 21,024 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1.
4) Hurst Euless Bedford ISD

For the 2021-22 school year, there are 33 public schools serving 23,429 students in Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. This district's average testing ranking is 9/10, which is in the top 20% of public schools in Texas.
5) Irving ISD

Covering 41 square miles, the district of more than 18,300 students serves the City of Wylie as well as families in the surrounding communities of Sachse, Murphy, Lucas, Lavon and St. Paul. Wylie ISD has 20 campuses including one 6A and one 5A high school, one alternative high school, three junior high schools (grades 7 and 8), three intermediate schools (grades 5 and 6) and eleven elementary campuses (grades Pre-K through 4).

Today Contagion Control Solutions announced that it has received testing for its non-toxic cleaning and sanitizing programs by FSNS lab. The results show 99.84% kill rates on salmonella, campylobacter and other pathogens. CCS manufactures and distributes a large variety of EPA-n list disinfectant and commercial sanitizing solution which makes it a viable alternative for poultry and other meat production plants. Poised as an alternative to the commonly-used peracetic acid (PAA), Contagion Control Solutions’ 100% natural and safe solution prevents many of the problems facing poultry producers who currently use PAA for its sanitization and disinfectant needs.
CCS also announced that it will be attending the Poultry Federation’s upcoming 10th Annual Food Safety Conference. The event will start on March 8, 2022 in Branson, Missouri; and the event is of interest to those who are food safety professionals, industry representatives and members of the academic community. According to the company’s website many poultry producers face several problems when using PAA or other disinfecting solutions which are not tested to be 100% natural, safe and EPA-approved. Such problems facing producers include the wing tips turning brown, explosion hazards, skin/respiratory/eye damage to employees, increased production costs due to employees who are sick or otherwise are not able to work at high capacity, and possible damage to production facility equipment.

Dr. Joseph Oppong, Professor of Geography and Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Academic Associate Dean of the Toulouse Graduate School at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas has requested and Barbara Gill has agreed to be one of the judges for the 3MT (3 Minute Thesis) Fall, 2018 competition for the doctoral students. Judging of the event will take place on November 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the UNT Union. The 3MT provides excellent training for students in research communication. The winner from this competition will represent the University of North Texas at Denton at the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools 3MT competition in Knoxville, Tennessee in February, 2019.
